I was born on August 18,
1921 to Gordon Stewart and Lottie Corless Brewerton in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada. You can
read my whole life story and more about me HERE and see childhood photos HERE.
Nothing means more to me than my family. My parents, grandparents (especially
Grandma Corless) and the aunts, uncles and cousins that were a huge part of my life have
provided more than I can possibly say. Perhaps that is why somehow all the stories, in many
different ways, ended up with me. Many of them came in old books, or copies of copies of copies
that were unreadable. Through the years I have re-typed, re-copied and re-organized, creating
lovely books for my own children and their families.
Scroll down for an index to all the stories in those books.
With the advent of the internet, and in the twilight of my own years,
the best possible place for these important documents and the rest of these records
is the internet, where my own family and generations to come will be
able to find and enjoy them.
I want to especially thank my dear cousin, Steele Brewerton, for the many
hundreds of hours he spent in compiling his own story, and then sharing it with me so that I could
publish it all here for everyone to enjoy this rich legacy. All the fun information about the
theatres and the history of those marvelous Brewerton brothers was collected by
him.

My husband's family, the Mays and the Lees were also tremendous
people. Their stories, humor, testimony and great example are legendary. On this site I have
included only the stories of my husband. Perhaps at some future time, we will add the Lee stories. At
this time the stories are all in the family binders. (Scroll down for the index.)
How blessed I am by my family and I hope and pray that with this information, the
generations past and the generations of the futuure will know of my great love
for them, and of my desire for them to all be blessed with the knowledge of who they came from.
