MORE ABOUT TEAM MERIDIAN:
Larry Barkdull, a writer for Meridian, has a non-profit organization dedicated to accessing the internet as a Missionary Tool. (more ...)
To make a long story short, anyone who embarks on the exciting Kyani Journey, either as a customer or a distributor, will indirectly be supporting the missionary efforts of Meridian. How? In the jargon of network marketing, Meridian Magazine is our “upline.” and will benefit from all customers and members that join underneath them.
In other words, as a customer or distributor through Meridian, a small commission of your purchases (or earnings from your organization if you choose to become a distributor) will be added to Meridian’s earnings, thus helping to pay for the technology required for setting up Meridian Magazine for the search engines within Meridian Magazine that will guide readers directly to LDSorg and the missionaries.
The Internet As a Missionary Tool From Larry Barkdull www.Gospelideals.org
Gospel Ideals International is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation with the purpose of promoting The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints via the Internet.
Our Cause and Request
At no time in the history of the world has more technology become available to broadcast the gospel message to every nation, kindred, tongue and people. The ‘trump of God’ that Alma once desired is now within our reach. That trump is the Internet.
For the last six years, we have been working with technicians, content providers, and website owners to develop a missionary tool to generate tens of thousands of qualified leads for missionaries. That tool has been tested in various applications and now, with the participation of Meridian Magazine, a large, content rich LDS website, we are ready to launch.
The task and potential is enormous. One quick study of 160 LDS terms showed a monthly international searching readership of over 418 million.
To successfully reach that audience, we will create compelling and scientifically optimized content that is presented with beautiful graphics, slideshows, and/or films; then we will marry that content with technology that distributes it in a variety of ways to maximize its effect. Then people who are interested will follow links embedded in our content to Mormon.org, where they can request Church materials or the missionaries.
Here is our challenge and request. This project is purely altruistic. It consumes time and money and requires significant coordination. To facilitate our ability to receive charitable, tax-deductible contributions, we formed a non-profit foundation, which is called Gospel Ideals International. We are wholly dependent on the generosity of good-hearted, missionary-minded people, who are in a position to help. We hope you can assist us in this massive missionary effort.
